1) Do I have to pre-book or can I just turn up?

Yes, you do need to pre-book at least a few days before you plan to shoot (at least a week before if you plan to shoot midweek) because we need to arrange instructors and book transport to and from the range for you.  For larger groups wishing to shoot at the weekend, especially during summer, its recommended to book at least 3 weeks before to guarantee a slot.

2) Can we pay when we get to the shooting range?

We ask for a £20 per person deposit when you book (e.g. a 8 person group would need a £160 deposit), and then you pay the balance in cash in Euros to the Range Manager when you arrive at the range. We can also charge this deposit in Euros for non-UK residents.  The deposit forms part of the total payment for the event therefore is not refundable after the event.  We are also happy to accept pre-payment for corporate customers, or any groups preferring not to handle large amounts of cash on the day.

If the time and date slot requested on your booking form is still available then we will email you a link to an invoice on a secure website that allows you to reserve the slot pay using a credit card or debit card.  If the slot is not available then we will email you offering some alternative time slots.  There is no additional charge for paying with a credit card.  We do not accept American Express.

3) There are less than 6 of us. Can we still shoot?

We have a special event designed for between one and five people called the VIP Early Bird.  Our other events usually require a minimum of 6 people.

4) Can I join another group?

Unfortunately , except for the VIP Early Bird,we do not put groups together in Budapest because most groups require exclusivity. This is because they are usually booked as team events (stag groups, corporate team building etc) so it is not practical to mix larger groups.

5) I’ve never fired a gun before. Do I need a gun licence etc?

For safety reasons all of our shooting events assume zero knowledge or skills with firearms. Our events are designed to give non-shooting customers a really positive introduction to target shooting. Since 2003 over 10,000 Brits have attended Top Gun Tours events at our various locations in Europe and the USA. The vast majority of these people had never shot a gun in their lives.

6) What do I need to bring to the range?

All you need to bring is valid photo ID (e.g. passport) and appropriate clothing for the time of year (the range is indoors but it is not heated so don’t forget to bring a fleece or something similar). Eye and ear protection is provided at no additional cost at the range.

8) My friend/s don’t want to shoot. Is it OK for them to come along and watch?

Yes, we welcome spectators. You will need to tell us in advance if there are any spectators so that we can send the correct size of vehicle. For group with more than 2 shooters there is a £20 or €25 per person spectator fee to cover the transport to the range and back.  This is the same amount as the normal shooting deposit so if the spectator gets to the ranges and decides that they want to shoot after all they just need to pay the normal balance amount shown on the website.

9) Is it OK to take photos/video?

Yes, we are happy for you to take your own photos and video. If you send us the best ones and we use them on our Rogues Gallery we will send you a complimentary Bullet Pen.  (Please note that photos must not breach any range safety regulations. If in doubt check with your instructor first).

10) Why don’t you put the range address on your website?

The range can be a bit tricky to find by yourself, so we offer hotel transfers within the price of all our shooting events.  Also, if we put the range address on our website we may have some potential customers turning up at the range without a booking and being disappointed because they didn’t realize our events are pre-book only.  However, if you have your own transport and agree to take full responsibility for arriving at the range on time we will be happy to email the range address and some basic directions to you once you’ve booked with us.
